It’s time to reassess your relationship!

It looks like you are having a hard time dealing with your long-distance relationship.

It may sound discouraging but making your long-distance relationship work is not impossible. But the only way it can work is if you and your partner have the willingness to make an effort.

If you are prepared to do it – great!

There’s a lot to learn, but it can also be exciting to discover or re-discover your relationship.

Learning how to be in a long-distance relationship isn’t about how to handle the distance or your partner; it’s about discovering yourself. Until you know what you want and what works for you, don’t expect your partner to guess what you want and fulfil your needs.

Knowing what you want and what works for you is the first step to making any relationship work.

A healthy long-distance relationship is built on understanding and trust.

To have a healthy relationship, you need to have effective communication to address issues, prevent misunderstandings and resolve conflicts.

Having a healthy relationship is only possible if you can maintain an emotional connection and are aware of yours and your partner’s physical needs.

If you are serious about making your relationship work, you need a plan to close the distance. A plan helps you clarify your personal and relationship goals and see if being together is what you really want.

Once you are in an unhealthy relationship, the pressure of overwhelming emotions and unrealistic expectations can be too much to handle.

If your long-distance relationship isn’t working, it’s ok to consider that it may not be for you. If this is the case, there are healthy ways you can break up and move on.
